Why should you join PTSA?

We still have available board positions! By Joining the PTA you benefit and aid in your childs learning but there are many more advantages:

There's no better way to knowing what's happening in your school.
The PTA offers a variety of programs designed for parents as well as students.
By volunteering you put your skills and hobbies to great use for your child and other children in the community.
PTA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your child's school.
You become a Role Model by demontrating to your child the importance you place on education.

Membership Coordinator- Duties include attending events and socalizing with parents and community member s in an attempt to generate more membership and increased volunteerism among members and non members. Work with the president, website coordinator and the administration to improve attendance and participation in school events.

Fundraising Coordinator - Duties include researching the available fundraising options and events and working with the Event Coordinator, Grant writer, Treasurer and President to develop the best fundraising opportunites for Chapman. This position is not required to attend events but is highly encouraged.

Web/Social Media Manager - Duties include posting PTA information on social media platforms to include Facebook and twitter, post events and pictures of events after they have passed, maintain the PTA webpage and content. This position is not required to attend all events/meeting but is highly encouraged.
